Miller-Davis Company has announced the promotion of six employees. Craig Howard, Steve Zimmerman, Jack Abate, Michele Wreggelsworth, Kyle Frailing and Dan Predl have all taken on new roles within the Company.
Craig Howard has been promoted from field operations manager to field operations director. Howard now provides overall direction, management, and motivation for all field staff. He helps solve complex construction challenges and serves as liaison with labor providers. Howard joined Miller-Davis Company in 1988 and has served in various positions, including project superintendent for many notable projects while with the company.
Steve Zimmerman has been promoted to pre-construction services director. He was chief estimator. Zimmerman leads the estimating department and provides accurate cost estimating and scheduling services to keep projects on schedule and within budget. He joined Miller-Davis in 2004 as an estimator and has been leading the company’s preconstruction services since 2012.
Jack Abate and Michele Wreggelsworth have both been promoted from project executives to project management directors. Abate and Wreggelsworth now provide overall direction and supervision for the project management department. They also provide executive leadership and project team support for the company’s projects. Wreggelsworth started with Miller-Davis in 1999. Abate started with Miller-Davis in 2002. They have served in many positions each with increasing responsibility in project management since joining the company.
Kyle Frailing has been named senior project manager. Frailing started with Miller-Davis in 2007 and has held several positions, including safety manager, project manager, and most recently client services manager. Frailing now provides oversight for project management functions and takes a leadership role on projects. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University.
Dan Predl has been promoted from project engineer to project manager. As project manager, Dan oversees and handles project management duties on construction projects. He serves as the primary office contact for those projects. Predl joined Miller-Davis Company in 2016. He earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Central Michigan University.
Miller-Davis Company is a full-service construction company providing general contracting, construction management, design-build, and construction consulting services. Miller-Davis was founded in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1909 and maintains its headquarters in Kalamazoo.
